Caldwell Model PLT - Fixed or Adjustable Pipe Lifting Tongs |

The Caldwell Model PLT - Adjustable Pipe Lifting Tongs are made to handle Sewer pipe, round bars, castings, etc. Pipe Lifting Tongs are provided with curved gripping arms for a positive grip on all types of material. The Adjustable Pipe Lifting Tongs can be furnished to protect smooth or polished surfaces. This is an add-on feature. Rigging Load must be balanced and controlled when lifting. For added stability many riggers use the Adjustable Pipe Lifting Tongs in pairs with a lifting beam for added stability. A variety of lifting beams are available to choose from. Two styles to choose from, fixed diameter and the adjustable diameter. The fixed model are designed for a 5" diameter and 8" diameter material. The adjustable range from 2" to 15" in combination diameters.
Designed and manufactured to ASME B30.20.
