The Actek Steel Road Plate Cover Lifting
Rings Hooks accessories allow for faster and safer handling
of heavy steel street plates commonly used to temporarily
cover excavations in streets and roadways during construction
or repair.
The Street Plate Lifting Ring Hook Hoists come either Rigid or in a Swivel type design. Each
design is popular by operators. The Road Plate Swivel Hoist
Ring can swivel 360 degrees and pivot 180 degrees.
Fabricated of heat treated, magnetic particle inspected
and certified 4140 aircraft quality, with hot dipped galvanized or chrome moly steel. The
Steel Street Plate Lifting Ring Hoist Hooks have a 5:1 safety
working load limit.
The Actek Hoist Rings and Nuts are manufactured to work together
to ensure proper usage. The usage of commercially available
nuts probably will not meet the specific tolerances
required for lifting these heavy loads. |
Additional accessories available
are: Actek thread clean out tool, used to clean out dirt
or other foreign matter from the thread of nuts. Go/No
Go Gage, used to determine when street plate nuts and
studs need to be replaced. Rectangular and round
weldable plates, used to replace the center section
of street plates from prior usage which eliminates
the need to change the entire plate. |
Rated capacity is for straight lifts. Any angle
lifts should be avoided.
